Georgian SMEs to Germany June 2016

The EU-Georgian Business Council brought 16 companies from the Agribusiness and Tourism sectors to Berlin, Germany on 14-15 June 2016.

The event was highly supported by the Georgian Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili who accompanied  the delegation, and by the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations of Germany, Eastern Europe Business Association of Germany and the Georgian Embassy in Germany.

The Roadshow comprised a Business Forum on Georgia's investment opportunities, B2B meetings, an exhibition of Georgian products and study visits.

The German companies looking to set up and expand their operation in Georgia received useful insight about the opportunities of doing business in the region.

The Georgian SMEs visited a German company operating in the field of fruits and vegetables processing, which allowed them to learn about certification requirements, European quality and standard issues, packing, labelling and hygiene requirements.

We are pleased to present to you the Catalogue of participating Georgian SMEs and kindly invite you to share their profiles further with your member companies if you believe this might generate interest among them.

The EUGBC website offers additional information regarding the Roadshows in Germany.
