Moldovan SMEs to Romania November 2016

A group of 50 Moldovan companies from agribusiness, textile, sustainable construction and tourism sectors took part in a Roadshow to Iasi, Romania on 25-27 November 2016.

The roadshow consisted of 2 days of exposition called "Made in Moldova". The first day was highly focused on showcasing the Moldovan products with the purpose to promote a positive image of Moldova as an attractive destination for tourism and business. On the second day a business conference was organised with the aim to present the investment opportunities in Moldova to Romanian business community, culminating in B2B meetings.

The target audience of the exhibition was European entrepreneurs, Romanian investors and local consumers. As an outcome of the event, three Moldovan textile companies will open their boutiques in Iasi by the end of the year 2016.

The exhibition "Made in Moldova" attracted 150 companies from both sides and it was inaugurated by the deputy prime ministers of Moldova and Romania, Octavian Calmac and Costin Grigore Borc.

Roadshow partners were the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the Eastern Partnership side and Bacau Chamber of Commerce on the European side.
