Moldovan SMEs to the Baltic States May 2015

A delegation comprising 10 Moldovan SMEs from textile and Agribusiness sectors, representatives from the Ministry of Economy of Moldova and the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Baltic States from 17 to 22 May 2015. They visited Vilnius, Lithuania, Tallinn, Estonia and the last destination was Riga, Latvia where on the occasion of the Eastern Partnership Business Forum they participated in the dedicated B2B session. The objective of the Roadshow was three-fold: to find potential business partners at B2B sessions, to promote Moldova as an investment destination for the Baltic States businesses and to have study visits to the Lithuanian, Estonian and Latvian companies, which will allow them to learn about certification requirements, European quality and standard issues, packing, labeling and hygiene requirements.

The Moldovan SMEs had an important meeting with the leader of a supermarkets network in Latvia, where they discussed  import opportunities of Moldovan products for local distribution.

Roadshow partners were the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce on the Eastern Partnership side and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the European side.

We are pleased to present to you the Catalogue of participating Moldovan SMEs and kindly invite you to share their profiles further with your member companies if you believe this might generate interest among them

The partners' websites offer additional information regarding the event: The Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Siauliu Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.
